The chairman of the Gt Accra Circles of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Kwame Danquah believes the spirit of the late deputy Equipment Officer of the club, Thomas Asare Obeng will come to their aid when they face Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
Thomas Asare Obeng lost his life when Asante Kotoko team bus ran into a packed truck last month on the Nkawkaw Kumasi highway.
The accident called for the postponement of Kotoko’s clash against Hearts of Oak, which was originally scheduled for July 6.

Sunday is the new date for the two rivals to do battle in an outstanding league fixture and Nana Kwame Danquah who is the chairman of the Gt. Accra region supporting base of the Kumasi giants has invoked the spirit of the late Thomas Obeng to come to play when they face the Porcupine Warriors.
“If there is life after death, then the spirit of Thomas Obeng Asare will intervene in our game against Hearts of Oak.
“I know him very well. His love for Kotoko was great, I believe he is going to be the number 12 man on the field. We will invoke his spirit before and during the match to grant us the desired luck we need for the game,” he told Happy FM
